2 Cups water
1 Cup shortening
1 Cup brown sugar
1 Cup white sugar
1 small pkg raisins
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cloves
2 tsp. Baking soda
5 cups flour
2 tsp. Baking powder
I tsp. Salt
1 lb. fruit mix

Mix water, shortening, B&W sugar, rasins, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves
Boil 5 min. cool and add 2 tsp. soda to mixture.
Mix in flour, baking powder, salt, fruit mix
Stir fruit mix well in flour, then add to boiled mixture.
Bake in 3 loaf or one 9x13 pan for 90 min. at 250
