½ c butter
1 c carrots, chopped
1 c onion, chopped
1 c celery, chopped
¼ tsp. rosemary
¼ tsp. black pepper
3 cloves garlic, pressed
1 qt. chicken broth
1½ c smoked turkey breast, chopped
1 c wild rice, uncooked
⅓ c all-purpose flour
12 oz can evaporated milk
½ tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. dry sherry

Directions:
Directions:
In a skillet over medium heat cook onion in butter for about 4-5 minutes, until tender. Combine onion, turkey, celery, carrots, garlic, rice and seasonings in a slow cooker; stir in broth. Cover and cook on low setting for 6-8 hours. Mix evaporated milk and flour; stir into soup with sherry. Cover and cook on low for 30 more minutes, until thickened.
