One large (1 to 2 lbs.) beef steak
1/2 c. chopped white onion
4 T. vegetable oil
16 oz. tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
2 T. worchestershire sauce
2 T. brown sugar
1 t. oregano
1 t. rosemary
1 t. Tabasco Sauce

Directions:
Start the charcoal . when coals are ready- cook steak to medium rare.Baste with sauce the last 5 to 10 minutes. Let rest for 10 to 15 minutes tented with foil. Slice thin. Serve with extra sauce on the side.
While charcoal is being prepared make sauce. (Sauce can be prepared up to 3 days ahead.)
to prepare sauce:
Saute oinion in oil. Add the rest of the ingredents and simmer 30 minutes.
