1 lb ground beef
2 carrots peeled and sliced
5 potatoes peeled and sliced
1 onion sliced
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 c. milk
salt and pepper to taste
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl mix ground beef, egg and onion soup mix. Grease a 9x13 casserole dish. Press meat mixture into the casserole dish. Layer onions on top of meat mixture, the carrots, then potatoes. Mix cream of mushroom soup, pepper, salt and milk together and pour over top. Cover with foil and bake at 375º for 20-25 mins. until meat is done and potatoes / carrots are soft.

Grandma Evans made this when she had us over to her house for dinner one night. My father-in -law Dennis Evans said this was one of his favorites. She said he would ask for this when he was a kid. This recipe is in loving memory of Christine and Dennis Evans.
