1 (12oz) can evaporated milk
water

Directions:
Directions:
This can be a bit time consuming, though prepping two gelatins in separate bowls will help. Use a glass 9x13 baking dish. Boil 3/4c water to pour over 3oz gelatin. Stir. When dissolved, add 3/4c. cold water. Refrigerate. For second of seven layers, again use 3/4c. boiling water with a box of gelatin. But when dissolved, add 1/2c. evaporated milk. When first. layer in fridge is firm, pour gently over that layer, being sure to have an even surface. Continue routine with odd layers being only water and even layers using milk. Children smile at the stripes.
