8 cup Original Quaker Oat Squares cereal
2 cup pecan pieces
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup margarine
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 250*. Combine cereal and pecans in 9x13 pan; set aside.
Combine corn syrup, brown sugar, and margarine in a 2 cup microwave safe bowl.
Microwave on high 1.5 mins; stir. Microwave 1/2 to 1.5 mins more or until boiling. Stir in vanilla and baking soda and pour over cereal mixture; stir to coat evenly.
Bake 1 hour; stirring every 20 mins. Spread on baking sheet to cool; break into pieces.
