1 sheet ref. pie crust
1 c. packed brown sugar
5 1/3 T. melted butter
3 eggs
1 c. light corn syrup
½ t. salt
1 t. vanilla extract
2 c. toasted pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
• Preheat oven to 375. Unroll pie crust and bake til golden brown; about 10 minutes.
• Whisk corn syrup, brown sugar, salt, butter, and vanilla in a medium bowl. Lightly beat the eggs in a small bowl; then whisk into the corn syrup mixture.
• Finely chop ½ c pecans and spread evenly over the pie crust. Roughly chop ½ c pecans and mix into the corn syrup mixture. Pour corn syrup mixture into the crust. Arrange 1 cup of pecans on top in decrorative pattern.
• Bake the pie until a knife inserted comes out clean; usually 40 to 50 minutes.
