½ tsp salt
About ⅔ c sifted all-purpose flour

Directions:
Directions:
Beat the egg, then add the salt and add enough of the flour to make a very stiff dough. Knead on a floured board for 3 or 4 minutes, then roll out in a thin sheet. Cover with towel and let stand for about 20 minutes. Then roll up as you would a jelly roll, and cut into thin strips, unroll and lay out to dry thoroughly. Store until needed. Then cook until tender. Serve seasoned as a vegetable. Or add to soups.
