1 cup shortening
1 cups sugar
3 eggs
3 cups un-sifted flour
1 tsp baking soda
tsp salt
1⅓ cup none such (Borden) ready to use mince meat (or of a 27oz. jar)

Directions:
Directions:
1) Pre-heat oven to 375

2) In a large mixer bowl, beat shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, beat well. Stir in mincemeat. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls , 2 inches apart, onto greased baking sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

****Note: DO NOT over cook, they will get too dry. They are to be moist. This is a cake like cookie.****
