Crust:
1 yellow cake mix (save ⅔ cup of mix for filling)
½ cup butter, melted
1 egg

Filling:
⅔ cup cake mix
3 eggs
½ cup sugar
1 ½ cup syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans

Crust:
Mix and press in greased 9 x 13 pan. Partially bake. 15 - 20 minutes at 350º.

Filling:
Mix together and pour over partially baked crust. Bake for an additional 25 to 30 minutes.
