This is a great recipe I got from Marcie at the Oak Barrel in Lake County California. The recipe is so good it was actually printed in Bon Appetit magazine. Lake County is known not only for it's vineyards but also orchards of walnuts and pears. It makes a great dessert for a hot Lake County day, top with whipped or ice cream.
