6 quarts popped corn
2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
½ cup corn syrup
1 tsp salt
1 cup butter
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
beer nuts or peanuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 250°. Melt butter in heavy 2 quart saucepan. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Boil without stirring for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in soda and vanilla.

Gradually pour over popped corn in 1 or 2 very large bowls, mixing well. Add nuts, if desired. Turn into 2 large shallow baking pans. Bake in 250° oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven and spread out on counter to cool completely. Break apart and store.
