2 ½ cups sugar
2 cups margarine
1 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
1 Tbsp dark corn syrup
5 ½ cups flour
1 tsp soda
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and margarine. Add eggs and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and blend into mixture. Roll dough into logs. Can be wrapped in foil and let stand for several weeks in refrigerator, slice and bake as needed in a 350° oven for 10 minutes or until bottoms are golden.
