cup flour
tsp baking soda
tsp salt
cup soft shortening
6 Tbsp sugar
6 Tbsp brown sugar
tsp vanilla
tsp water
1 egg
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Sift together flour, soda, and salt; set aside. Blend shortening, sugars, vanilla, and water. Beat in egg. Add flour mixture; blend well. Stir in oatmeal and chips. Drop by half teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake in a 375 oven for 10-12 minutes.
