Ingredients:  
3 pound whole chicken
2 carrots, sliced
2 onions, sliced
1 tsp. basil
1/2 chicken broth
2 celery stalks with leaves
2 tsp..salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Put carrots, celery and onions into the bottom of crock pot. Add a whole chicken.
Add salt, pepper and chicken broth. Top with basil.
Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hrs.
