1 pkg. Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
2 tbsp. oil (Crisco or Wesson)
2 pkg. cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 cup milk
3 tbsp. lemon juice
3 tsp. vanilla
1 can pie filling (cherry or blueberry)

Preheat oven to 300 degrees and grease a Pyrex dish.

Reserve 1 cup of cake mix and set aside. In large mixing bowl combine remaining cake mix, 1 egg and oil. Press evenly into bottom of and 3/4 way up sides of pyrex dish, creating a shell.

In same bowl, blend cream cheese and sugar. Add remaining 3 eggs and the reserved cake mix. Beat for 1 minute on medium speed. On low speed, slowly add milk, lemon juice and vanilla. Pour into shell and bake for 45-55 minutes.

Let cool. Top with pie filling and chill.
