3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar

for topping: 2 tbsp. sugar and 2 tbsp. cinnamon
Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Combine sugar and butter, then add egg and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Roll into one inch balls of batter and roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 for 7-9 minutes.
