1 pkg yeast
¼ cup warm water
1 ½ cup lukewarm milk
¼ cup lard, melted
2 eggs, beaten
½ cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt4 1/2 cups flour
¼ - ½ cup butter, melted
cinnamon and sugar
additional flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. In very large bowl, combine yeast mixture with milk, lard, eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt; blend well. Stir in flour. Let raise in a warm location for 1 hour; beat down.
Grease pans. Dust batter with flour to keep from sticking to hands. Pat batter into prepared pans. Cover with melted butter and mixture of cinnamon, sugar, and flour. Bake in a 350° oven for 20 minutes. Cover with wax paper to cool.
Makes two 9x13 pans or 3 to 4 smaller cakes.
