Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
2 cups cooked sweet potatoes (mashed) Canned sweet potatoes work very well w/this recipe...SAVE THE JUICE FOR THE SAUCE
1/2 cup of sugar
2 tablespoons of corn starch
3 eggs (beaten)

Blend all ingredients in order given, place in greased 1 and 1/2 quart casserole dish.

TOPPING

1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
5 tablespoons butter (melted)
1 cup pecans (chopped)

Blend together and spread on top of potato mixture.

Bake at 325 for 30 to 40 minutes

SAUCE

Blend 1 cup of the reserved canned sweet potato JUICE
1/2 stick of butter
1/2 cup brown sugar and a little salt
a schooch of vanilla

Place in a sauce pan and cook until clear brown - not clouded brown.
This can be served on the side (works better than pouring it on) .

DON'T OVERCOOK - as it will be dry.

This has been a very successful side dish at Thanksgiving...
