1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tsp. basil leaves
2 Tbsp. olive oil
cup water
2 Tbsp. lemon juice (bottled or fresh)
2 tsp. chicken flavored instant bouillon
1 pound medium raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 large tomato, seeded and chopped
(12 oz.) package wide egg noodles (or linguine)
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Red pepper flakes to taste

In a large skillet cook mushrooms, onion, garlic and basil in oil until tender. Add water, lemon juice and bouillion; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; add shrimp and pepper. Simmer uncovered 5-8 minutes or until shrimp are pink, stir in tomato. In large bowl, toss shrimp mixture with hot noodles and cheese. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes.
