Ingredients:  
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. cinamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. applesauce
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 c. raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter in with sugar.
Add spices and egg and beat.
Dissolve baking soda in warm water and add applesauce.
Combine two mixtures.
Add flour, Dredge raisins in flour, add to batter.
Baked in moderate oven between 350ºF to 375ºF.
