Stan's Salsa Recipe

20 C. tomatoes, chopped
8 C. onions, chopped
3 C. green pepper, chopped
7 sweet banana peppers, chopped
5 garlic cloves, chopped (1 clove = tsp garlic powder)
2 C. sugar
3 T. chili powder
5 T. salt
2 C. white vinegar
2 or 3 tsp Cayenne pepper
C. corn starch

1 - Measure out 2 C. tomatoes and add the corn starch - set aside.
2 - Combine all ingredients and cook 20 minutes on medium heat.
3 - Add the tomato/corn starch mixture slowly, stirring continuously.
4 - Place salsa in hot jars and seal using water bath method (approx. 30 min).
