16 oz Tin, pitted dark, sweet cherries
1/4 C Sugar
2 T Cornstarch
1/4 C Brandy
6 C Vanilla Ice Cream

Directions:
Directions:
1. Drain cherries; reserve syrup adding water to make 1 C
2. In saucepan, blend sugar and cornstarch, gradually add cherry syrup, mixing well.
3. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens and bubbles. Remove from heat, stir in cherries.
4. Heat brandy. Ignite brandy and pour over cherry mixture. Blend into sauce and serve immediately over ice cream.
