Texas Icing


Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
½ C Buttermilk
1 tsp Baking Soda

1 Stick Butter
½ C Wesson Oil
1 C Water
3 T Cocoa

2 C Sugar
2 C Flour
Dash of cinnamon

2 Eggs (beaten)
1 tsp vanilla


Icing:

1 Stick Butter, melted
2 ½ T Cocoa
6 T Pet Milk
1 Box Powdered Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
½ tsp Orange extract

Directions:
Directions:
Stir buttermilk & soda. Set aside until almost doubled.

Combine butter, oil, water & cocoa in a glass bowl. Heat in the microwave for 1 minute.
Pour over dry ingredients.
Add eggs & vanilla.


Bake in a greased 13 x 9 pan @ 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

Mix icing. Frost cake while still warm.

Be sure to keep a fork handy. Jesse said the cut cake must always have straight edges.
