3-1/2 cup apples (Granny Smith)
3 eggs
2 cup sugar
1-1/2 cup oil
3 cup plain flour, sifted
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup pecans
1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
1 stick margarine
1/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Beat oil, sugar and eggs until smooth. Add flour mixed with soda and salt. Add apples and pecans Bake 1 hour at 325*. Bring brown sugar, margarine and milk to a boil. Boil for 2-1/2 minutes. Pour over hot cake. Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
