1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1-1/2 cup sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl combine sugar, flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder. Combine oil, eggs, corn syrup and vanilla; add to dry ingredients. Fold in nuts if desired. Spread in a greased 13x9 baking pan. Bake at 350* for 25-27 minutes or until toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Dust with confectioners sugar while warm if desired.

Yields about 3 dozen.
