2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoons salt
2 sticks butter
1 cup water
3 T cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar and salt. In saucepan melt butter. add cocoa and water and bring to a boil; add to flour mixture and beat well. Beat in eggs, buttermilk, soda and vanilla. Bake in a 11x13 pan for 20-25 minutes at 350*. For filling combine 1 cup buttermilk and 1 cup sugar. Bring to a boil then add 24 large marshmallows and 2 cups of coconut. Spread on warm cake. For icing combine 1/2 cup butter, 1/4 cup milk, 1/3 cup cocoa, 1lb. powdered sugar and 1 tsp vanilla. Pour over filling. Top with 1 cup sliced almonds. Cool completely.
