19 ice cream sandwiches
1 carton Cool Whip
1 jar (11 3/4 oz) hot fudge ice cream topping
1 c salted peanuts or pecans

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cut one ice cream sandwich in half.
2. Place one whole and one half sandwich along the short side of a 9x13 pan.
3. Arrange 8 sandwiches in opposite direction for one layer.
4. Spread half of the fudge topping on top of the sandwiches, half of the Cool Whip, and half of the nuts. Repeat all of this for the next layer. (Pan will be full and will have a space on the sides.)
5. Cover and freeze for up to 2 months.

Remove from the freezer 20 minutes before serving. Cut into squares.

The most time consuming part is unwrapping the sandwiches. This is a great summertime dessert.
