Asian Lettuce Wraps Recipe

2 tsp Canola oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tb minced fresh ginger
1 lb. ground chicken
1/2 tsp salt
4 cups bagged slaw
1 can sliced water chestnuts, minced
1/2 c green onions thinly sliced
4 Tb soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 lemon zest and juice
1/3 c chopped cilantro
1-2 heads lettuce


Heat oil and add garlic, ginger. Saute for 30 seconds and add ground chicken. When chicken is just about cooked, add mushrooms and salt.
Add slaw, chestnuts and green onion. Cook for 2 minutes
Add soy sauce, sesame oil and lemon
Remove from heat and add cilantro

Dipping Sauce
4 Tb Soy sauce
4 Tb Rice vinegar
3 Tb Water
2 tsp Honey

Makes 5 cups and 15 wraps
