Ingredients:
2 cups of flour (maybe a little more)
Sprinkle of salt
1/2 a block of crisco
1/3 cup of water

Directions:
Squish it all with a fork, then with your hands. The crisco should soak up all of the flour. If it doesn't, add a bit more. Pour some water (maybe 1/3 cup) until the dough is slightly squishy.
Lay down a piece of wax paper and sprinkle flour on it.
Put all dough into a ball, and pat it into a circle. Sprinkle it with flour. Roll it out.
Place the pan upside down on the dough. Carefully flip the whole things other using the wax paper. Tuck the dough to maybe 1" overhang using a fork. You can use the leftover bits to patch any bits leftover on the inside.
Roll up the edges all the way around to make a nice edge.

If you aren't making the pie soon, put the crust in a bag in the fridge.

Personal Notes:
This is a favorite of my 87 year old neighbor, Ella. She's been in her house since the 1940s and says she isn't leaving E. 25th Street of Houston Heights unless its in a pine box!
