1 lb. cubed Alaskan halibut (1" pieces)
2 qt. water
1 C. Sugar
1 bay leaf

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in sauce pan and bring to boil; when halibut chunks float, it's done! (the meat should be white and flake off easily with a fork)

Drain off liquid and serve halibut with melted butter - yummie!
