Brownies:
1 cup flour
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 cup nuts
lb chocolate (3 squares)
1 tsp vanilla
lb butter
pinch salt

Fudge Icing:
2 cup sugar
⅔ cup sweet milk
cup cocoa
tsp salt
cup shortening (Crisco)
1 tsp vanilla

Brownies:
Melt butter and chocolate. Cook. Beat eggs until thick. Add sugar, slowly, beating well. Sift flour. Add nuts. Add to first mixture. Add chocolate and vanilla. Pour into greased pan having batter inch thick. Bake 350 oven 30 minutes.

Icing:
Mix all ingredients, except vanilla. Boil rapidly exactly 2 minutes. Remove from heat, add vanilla - pour into mixing bowl and beat exactly 5 minutes.
