Cake:
3 cup sifted plain flour
1¼ cup sweet milk
½ cup Crisco
½ tsp baking powder
3 cup sugar
½ cup cocoa
5 eggs
1 tsp vanilla flavoring
2 sticks margarine

Fudge Icing:
2 cup sugar
⅔ cup sweet milk
¼ cup cocoa
¼ tsp salt
½ cup shortening (Crisco)
1 tsp vanilla

Cake:
Cream margarine, Crisco and sugar, until light and fluffy. Sift dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients and milk alternately - about ⅓ at a time - beating constantly. Add eggs one at a time. Add flavoring. Mix thoroughly. Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake about 1 hour 25 minutes at 300º.

Icing:
Mix all ingredients, except vanilla. Boil rapidly exactly 2 minutes. Remove from heat, add vanilla - pour into mixing bowl and beat exactly 5 minutes.
