1 lb dried pinto beans
6 C cold water
1/2 lb. salt pork (cut up)
1 lb lean chunk steak (in cubes)
1 red chili pepper or 1/2 t. crushed red pepper
1 med. onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 6-oz can tomato paste
1 1/2 T chili powder
1 t. salt
1 t. cumin salt
1/2 T marjoram

Directions:
Directions:
Soak beans in water over night.
Brown salt pork in skillet.
In crockpot, combine soaked beans (with water), browned pork, and remaining ingredients.
Cover and cook on low for 9-10 hours.
