Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 or 2 family tea bags (or 3-8 individual tea bags)
˝ to 1 cup sugar (sweeter for kids)
slice of lemon or sprig of mint (garnish, optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Just remember: a cup of sugar per gallon of water with teabags according to whether you like your tea medium or dark (strong). I just put the tea bags in the top of a coffeemaker and let it brew. Then I put the bags into the carafe and let them steep. You can put the bags directly in the carafe right in the beginning. Once the tea has brewed for about 10 minutes, pour it into a pitcher with the sugar then add cold water to make a gallon. Stir. Serve over ice.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Good ol’ iced tea, or “sweet tea” as we call it. Up North all the tea, iced or otherwise, is plain. My children prefer sweeter than I do. You decide for yourself.
