Ingredients:  
1 package of refrigerated or frozen (thawed) potatoes
1 package (around 16 slices) of american cheese singles
Butter or margarine
Garlic salt (if desired)

Directions:
Directions:
1.Place potatoes into an 8x8 disposable pan
2. Place dollops of the butter or margarine on top of the potatoes
3. Sprinkle garlic salt on top.
4. Unwrap cheese slices and place on top, overlapping edges.
5. Cover with foil and place onto the grill away from direct heat or put into a 350 degree oven.
6. Cook until cheese is melted and potatoes are hot, usually about 15 minutes.

For potatoes with a zip, try using potatoes with peppers and onions or pepper jack cheese slices.

You could also use fresh potatoes but will need to cook longer. This is always a kid pleaser!!
