1 cup shortening
1½ cup sugar
2 eggs
2¾ cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, sugar, and eggs. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to first mixture. Chill. Form into balls the size of walnuts. Sprinkle with a mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons of cinnamon. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400º for 8 to 10 minutes.
