4 strips bacon, fried crisp, reserve drippings
4 medium potatoes, diced
1 cup celery, diced
½ cup onions, diced
salt
pepper
1 quart milk
1 cup American cheese, grated
paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Cook potatoes, celery, onions, salt & pepper until tender in a small amount of water. Add milk & bacon drippings; heat to just before boiling. DO NOT BOIL! Add cheese & paprika. Top each bowl with bacon crumbles.
