"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

1 stick of butter
Parsley flakes
Olive oil
Parmasan cheese
Dried thyme

Directions:
Cut top off of head of garlic just so cloves are exposed, drizzle about 1 tbls olive oil and sprinkle with dried thyme. Wrap in tin foil and roast in oven for about 45 minutes (about 350º, I do often while I am cooking lasagna so can be higher). Once roasted and cooled, squeeze so all cloves come out. Soften a stick of butter just so can mix, not liquid, mash garlic and add to butter along with about ¼ cup parmasan and about tbls parsley flakes, mix well, cut french bread loaf in half long ways, spread mixture and put under broiler, watch closely as will burn easily, check every couple minutes and as in longer keep closer eye on it.
