CRUST:
17 graham crackers
1/3 cup sugar
¼ cup butter (melted)

FILLING:
½ cup sugar
4 Tbs. flour
Pinch of salt
½ cup poppy seed
2 cups milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
½ tsp vanilla

MERINGUE:
3 egg whites
2 Tbs. sugar

CRUST:
Grease pan & line with crumbs pressed tight. Save ~1/2 cup of crumbs for top.

FILLING:
Combine sugar, flour, salt & poppy seed.
Add milk a little at a time & mix until smooth, then heat.
Add beaten egg yolks & boil until thick, then remove from stove.
Add vanilla; then pour onto crust.

Beat egg whites. Add 2 Tbsp. of sugar. Pour over the filling & add remainder of cracker crumbs on top.
Bake at 325 º for approximately 20 minutes.
