Ingredients:
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 lb ground beef
4 tablespoons sofrito sauce
4 tablespoons tomato sauce
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
3 packages of Goya Discos Pastry Dough

Vegetable oil for deep frying

Directions:
Directions:
Using a frying pan, heat the olive oil. Add the ground beef and cook until all of the pink in the meat is gone. Stir and break up the meat so that are no big clumps.
Add the onions, tomato sauce, oregano and salt to the cooked ground beef. Mix thoroughly. Turn the heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool. ( you can also use my Picadillo recipe minus the olives for this as well.

Take the Discos Pastry Dough and add a spoonful of the beef in the middle of it, fold it in half. using a fork press down on the edges to create a seal.

Deep fry until pastry is golden brown. (use medium heat as you don't want to burn the pastry dough)
