Ingredients:  
2 cups all purpose flour
1-1/2 cups sugar
1-1/2 sticks butter (room temp)
2 eggs (room temp)
1/2 cup buttermilk (best if made with real buttermilk - not reduced fat)
1/2 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 ripe medium bananas mashed (1-1/2 cups)
2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and butter in a large bowl. Stir in eggs until blended. Add bananas, buttermilk and vanilla,
beat until smooth. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt jut until moistened. (Don't over blend) Fold in nuts.
Grease a loaf pan 9 x 5 x 3. - You may use other size pans - just adjust your baking time.
Bake in a preheated oven 350 degrees for about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
