2 lb. round steak
Salt and pepper to taste
1 onion diced
1 #2 can tomatoes
1 stalk celery chopped (optional)
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup cup shorting
2 carrots, sliced
1 bell pepper (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Pound the steak, dredge with flour, salt and pepper. Heat the shorting in a skillet brown the meat on all sides. Add onion, carrots, pepper, celery and tomatoes. Cover, bring to a simmering point over high heat, reduce heat and simmer until tender. OR put into a classerole dish and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 375º
