2½ c. all-purpose flour
3 T. unsweetened cocoa powder
1 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1 c. (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
1¼ c. creamy peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1½ c.semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375º. Butter a large baking sheet. Whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt in a mediu bowl to blend. Using an electric mixer, beat butter, peanut butter and both sugars in a large bowl until well-blended. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Form dough into 1" balls and transfer to the prepared baking sheet, spacing 2" apart. Using the back of a fork, flatten cookies by making a crisscross pattern on top of each. Bake until dry on top and golden brown on bottom - about 10 minutes. Cook on racks.
