3 TB melted butter
1/3 cup orange juice
2 TB honey
3 eggs
8 slices French bread, each 1 inch thick

Directions:

Pour melted butter into jelly roll baking sheet. Beat orange juice, honey and eggs with hand beater until foamy. Dip bread into egg mixture, place in pan. Drizzle any remaining egg mixture over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight, no longer than 24 hours.

Heat oven to 450. Bake uncovered until bottoms are golden brown, about 10 minutes; turn bread. Bake about 6-8 minutes longer until bottoms are golden brown.

We enjoyed this at the South Glendora Tree Far Bed & Breakfast in Dundee, NY sometime in the early 90s. Delish and a crowd pleaser for holiday brunch.
