1/2 c. Squash, steamed and pureed
1/4 c. Sugar
1/2 t Salt
1/4 c. Butter
1/2 c. Scalded Milk
1/4 Yeast Cake (or 1/2 t. Dry Yeast) dissolved in 1/4 c. Water
2 1/2 c. Flour

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl mix squash, sugar, salt and butter. Pour scalded milk over the top and cool to lukewarm. Add dissolved yeast mixture, and flour and let rise overnight. In the morning, shape into small biscuits and place close together on a greased cookie sheet. Brush tops with melted butter. Let rise until doubled and then bake in a hot oven (375-400 F) for about 30 minutes.
