1 cup shortening
½ cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, well beaten
2 cups + 4 T. sifted flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
½ cup nuts, chopped
1-12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
Directions:
Directions:
Add shortening, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla & eggs, with electric mixer. Mix in flour, soda, salt with spoon. Add nuts & chips & mix. Bake at 350º until barely brown.
