1 box lasagna noodles, cooked
1 (3 lb. container) ricotta cheese
6 eggs
1 c. Parmesan cheese
1 c. fresh parsley, chopped
12 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper

Meat Sauce:
1 lb. Italian sausage, casings removed
2 lbs. ground beef (ground chuck)
1 batch of Mom's sauce without the meatballs. (see Grandma's Sauce recipe under Grandma and GP's Sunday dinner.)

Ricotta filling:
Mix together ricotta, parmesan cheese, 8 oz. of mozzarella cheese, parsley, eggs, salt and pepper. Set aside.

Meat sauce:
Brown Italian sausage and ground beef together. Drain completely. In large sauce pot, add tomato sauce and browned meat. Stir to mix thoroughly and heat.

Cook lasagna noodles in salted boiling water. In 9x13 baking dish, layer sauce, lasagna noodles, meat sauce (use slotted spoon to retain more meat, less sauce), ricotta cheese mixture. Repeat layers again. Top with lasagna noodles and sauce. Top with remaining 4 oz. of mozzarella cheese.

Cover with foil and bake at 350º for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 10 more minutes. Let stand for additional 10 minutes before serving.
