This is originally titled "Donna's Fall Vegetable Bean Soup"- I renamed it.

1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 Large Onion
1 Large Carrot, peeled and diced
1 Small Rutabaga, peeled and cubed (4 cups)
2 Medium Potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/2 lb to 1 lb. Italian Hot Sausage
2 tsp. minced garlic
3 Cans (15 oz) chicken broth
1 Can (15 oz) great northern beans, undrained
1 tsp. Italian Seasoning
Salt and Pepper
6-12 oz fresh spinach

Directions:
In a large soup pan, heat oil. Add onions and cook until translucent. Add carrots and rutabaga and cook until vegetables are tender. Remove meat from sausage casing, add ot pan and cook until beginning to brown. Add garlic and cook 1 minute. Add potatoes, chicken broth, beans, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and boil gently until vegetables are tender. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add additional broth to thin to desired consistency. add spinach and cook until wilted.
