Crust:
1 c. flour
1 stick margarine, softened
˝ c. chopped pecans (you’ll also need extra chopped pecans for topping – ˝ c.)

Filling:
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. powdered sugar
˝ large container Cool Whip

Pudding layer:
2 pkgs. Instant chocolate pudding
3 c. milk

Directions:

Crust:
Mix all ingredients until crumbly. Press into bottom of 9x13 ungreased baking dish. Bake at 300 for 15 minutes. Let cool.

Filling:
Beat sugar and cream cheese until blended well. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread over cooled crust.

Pudding layer:
Mix together until it starts to thicken. Pour over cream cheese layer. Top with remaining Cool Whip. Sprinkle with some chopped pecans and chill. Cut into squares to serve.
